State of mine.. I mean mind

I officially am a foreigner here. They don't understand a word I say and I definitely don't understand anything they say... I'm getting better at translating though.
"Yor baysa goral" (nice lady at the DMV)
"um.. parden?" (moi)
"zagoral" (she gestured at Sonseray camped out in my sling.. who was wearing a brown hat and her organic green stripey sacque)
"uh....OH... ...YES she IS a girl" (good grief!)

I had a very tedious trip downtown to get some needs taken care of at the DMV and the Post Office...
One was a pointless and frustrating hour long wait. The other...equally frustrating and non-productive.

So tomorrow I try again in the opposite direction.

We both miss my hubbs the dad guy.

The car DID manage to procure me a shining knight in blue riding to save the day in his trusty post-office minivan.. I had stopped to nurse my baby and to put oil in my rediculous car when.. I could not get my 5 quart jug of oil open try as I might.
So I sat in the drivers seat with the baby..the hood open.. jug on ground, angry at how lousy my day was going when the postman stopped and was able (after banging the dumb thing on a telephone post) to open the jug for me. He also gave me directions chatting simultaniously on his bluetooth device to his mom.. I not only didn't understand a word he sayed I also never quite knew who he was talking to, me or her.
The act of kindness nearly redeemed the USPS for the lame post office experience earlier.

I DID wrap some presents. :-)

And stir fry up a strange combo of garbonzo beans, summer squash, carrots and green pepper.. The oddest combination of the ONLY veggies I COULD produce from my almost empty fridge and pantry.

Wow it was GOOD though..
I am however running out of Nutritional Yeast :-( my favorite topping for stir fried anything.
But discovered that Michaels favorite spice is the BOSS of nutritional-yeast replacements!!!!!!
